Hi, I'm Dana Kowalski (whoaaa a guy though, hit cancel on that nasty IM msg). I'm a 32yr old developer currently living in Champaign, IL but born and raised in Central NY. I currently work as a Government contractor designing web applications and providing consulting. I've been doing web development on some level for over a decade. The last 5 years have been dedicated to strictly ColdFusion development, after previously coming from a mostly php background. It only took a few short weeks to really see the power of Coldfusion for rapid development, and I still have days where I get that flash of excitement learning a new piece that mitigates development time.

• I probably have more CDs and MP3s than you, if not I really pity you!
• I've played more World of Warcraft than I'll ever admit to.
• Every September I go through a nasty addiction of hope, which leads to a crashing of reality around December.
• I have an unhealthy addiction to t.v. dvds.
